Like a crime scene

Orla: Gawd Faye, your room is a mess.

Faye: I’d have cleaned it if I wasn’t, you know, DEAD.

Orla: …No. No, you wouldn’t. -_-’

Break

I’m taking a brief break from updates. Stuff is a little hectic right now as I start my new job, get settled into a new apartment, and prepare for a trip to Anime Weekend Atlanta.

New stuff will continue going up on my deviantart.

Updates

My friend pointed out it was dumb of me not to take advantage of Wordpresses ability to frontdate comics to keep updates on schedule. If I ever miss another update, it’ll be because the comic’s not done, not because I was a flake and forgot. :P

Or played Risk for too long.

Transformers Risk.

In other news, the gallery now has stuff in it. The characters page is also brand new. Both will be updated in the coming weeks.

In other news, a classmate of mine started a webcomic at the same time I did. Go visit Kaboomcomix. She’s funny. For realsies. :)

Girly Process

Josh Lesnick put up a cool video showing his working process for his comic, Girly.

He’s a great digital inker. He creates really neat lighting effects and tones.

sequel? “100 Ways to Draw Manga Noses”

100 ways to draw manga eyes, some you’ll definitely recognize. Demonstration by Mark Crilley, author/artist of Akiko and Miki Falls.

This demo is cool. It’s amazing what versatility he can get out of three or so tools. It makes me want to experiment!

Scrulouse the comic begins on August 11. Enjoy this silly short while I scramble to add to my page buffer.

What can you expect from Scrulouse? It’s hard to categorize. I’ve described it as a “stupid drama” and thought of it as a “slow-burning romance.” It has a bunch of angsty teenagers and takes place at a school. The short stars the same characters, if you like the looks of them.

Expect profiles and other goodies in the coming months. And a MWF update schedule for pages.

And here we go!
